[Handling of Personal Information]

In accordance with the Company’s "Privacy Policy", the handling of personal information shall be based on the following:

1. Management and Administrator of Personal Information

The Company shall appoint an administrator with the responsibility and authority for handling the implementation and operation of personal information. Said administrator shall lead organizational efforts to protect personal information through training and audits.

    • All operations incidental or related to the above

    However, the Company shall only store the electronic data containing personal identification numbers that customers collect, retain, and manage on Company services, etc. in designated locations. The Company shall not handle this information beyond backup, restoration, and similar processes, shall not perform searches using server functions, and shall restrict access to such data by Company employees.

  • The purposes of use of personal information concerning the User's business partners (including potential business partners, hereafter referred to as “Business Partners, etc.”) shall be as follows:

    • Communication, cooperation, negotiation, and fulfillment of contracts, and requests related to such, in relation to Company services, etc.
    • Creation of statistical information related to Company services, etc.
    • "Responding to inquiries and requests related to Company services, etc.

  • In addition to the above, the purposes for using personal information related to the Company’s business partners, affiliates, and subcontractors (including potential business partners) are as follows:

(2) [Personal information of shareholders/investors, job applicants, and employees]

  • The purposes of use of personal information concerning shareholders and investors shall be as follows:

    • Exercise of rights and performance of obligations under the Companies Act
    • Provision of various benefits from the Company in relation to the status as a shareholder
    • Implementation of various measures to facilitate smooth relations between shareholders and the Company
    • Shareholder management, including the creation of shareholder data based on prescribed standards in accordance with various laws and regulations

  • The purposes of use of personal information related to job applicants (including internship applicants) shall be as follows:

    • Communication, provision of information, and applicant selection
    • Implementation and management of internships

  • The purposes of use of personal information related to employees (including retirees) and their families shall be as follows:

    • Communication, labor management, human resources management
    • Occupational health and safety management (health examinations, etc. based on the Industrial Safety and Health Act)
    • Provision of welfare benefits
    • Operations related to the employee stock ownership plan
    • Operations based on laws and regulations related to labor and social insurance, as well as tax processing

3. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

The Company will not provide personal information to third parties except in the following cases:

  • If the Company has the consent of the person in question
  • When required to do so by laws and regulations
  • Where it is necessary to protect a person's life, body, or property, and obtaining the individual's consent is difficult
  • Where it is particularly necessary for the improvement of public health or the promotion of the healthy development of children, and obtaining the individual's consent is difficult

4. Joint Use

The Company may share personal information it has acquired with domestic Group companies listed in (2) below.

5. Creation of Pseudonymized and Anonymized Information

The Company may create pseudonymized data and anonymized data in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information.
If the Company creates pseudonymized information and changes the purpose of use, we will announce it here or by other means.

6. Security Control Measures Regarding Personal Information

The Company has implemented the following measures for the safe management of personal information:

The Company has developed and is implementing regulations regarding the handling of personal information, outlining the methods of handling, responsible parties, and their duties at each stage of acquisition, use, storage, provision, deletion, and disposal.

7. Outsourcing of Personal Information

The Company outsources part of its operations to provide better services to our customers in our business operations.
In doing so, the Company selects subcontractors recognized for handling personal information appropriately, establishes necessary provisions in contracts regarding proper management and confidentiality of personal information to prevent the leaking of customer personal information, and ensures that appropriate management is implemented.

8. Acquisition of Personal Information in a Manner that Prevents the Individual from being Readily Identified

The Company-operated websites use cookies (Note 1) and web beacons (Note 2) to collect information such as IP addresses, browser types, and referring URLs from access logs.Information collected is used as statistical data for analyzing website usage trends. It is not used to identify individual users except on pages that require user authentication.

A processing fee (1,000 yen per request) prescribed by the Company is required for requests for Disclosure, etc.

11. Voluntary Nature of Personal Information Provision

While providing personal information to the Company is voluntary, please understand that if necessary information is not provided, the Company may be unable to provide certain services.
