Future Vision for the Company - Digitalization of the Entire Business Process
In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic brought about significant changes in the corporate environment. Companies are
being called upon to introduce broad-sweeping changes in the way they work, and to promote remote work
solutions. One such theme that any business needs to address to ensure its continued success is that of
digital transformation (DX).
DX has changed what our customers look for in IT solutions. This involves going beyond services that
partially digitalize workflows, instead delivering new value by digitalizing our clients’ entire business
process. We recognize new needs emerging around these IT solutions.
I believe it is important to prioritize efficiency in the use of management resources and speed in business
decision-making to keep in step with the rapidly changing needs of our customers. In the Medium-term
Management Plan prepared for 2022, we have targeted collaborations with other companies as a growth strategy.
Our cloud service partially digitalizes workflows such as ordering and billing. However, the digitalization of
the entire business process, a new need for which solutions are increasingly being sought, necessitates the
expansion of solutions in areas related to ordering and billing. By leveraging not only our own resources but
also external management resources to expand our services, we will advance a speedy product strategy.
We have developed our business model as a SaaS company since our founding in 1998. We have been able to build
a strong customer base by serving a broad range of customers over the years. Expanding our services involves
upfront investment, but enhances the value we stand to provide our customers. We aim to further improve
profitability by leveraging this to grow our core business and further strengthen our customer base.
Renewed Company Logo and Tagline - Celebrating 25 Years
To mark the 25th anniversary since our founding, we revamped the corporate brand in 2023. We have encapsulated
our approach to the solutions we provide, our values, and our intended direction in the tagline "Work Smart,
Infomart", reflecting the value our customers seek.
In this milestone year, we reflect on the path our business has taken since our founding. Beginning with
order and delivery processes in the food service and ingredient wholesale sectors, we have since expanded in
scope to focus on the digitalization of invoices, contracts, and other forms. These services eliminate the
hassle of paperwork from the back office. In addition to providing services, we have also focused on building
a support system that ensures our customers can truly experience the benefits.
Japanese organizations are highly systematized. That’s why, even though the efficiency benefits of undergoing
a thorough transformation during times of change are well understood, it can be challenging to respond
effectively. We will work side by side with such customers to ensure they can truly experience the benefits.
This approach to business may seem unrefined, but we have consistently provided “smart” value through the
solutions we provide to our customers. We believe this has led to the optimization of our customers' work,
providing opportunities for new value creation. Moving forward, we will continue to enhance and deliver this
"smart" value to our customers.
Another Values Provided With Our Services - Reducing Environmental Impact
Our solutions for digitalizing paper forms used in back-office operations have been a core service since our
founding. We believe that another value this service has created is the reduction of environmental impact. Our
services are used by over 800,000 companies, and the number of reduced paper slips calculated from this figure
amounts to 475.88 million per year. This results in a CO2 reduction of 4,079,093 kg, equivalent to 463,533
cedar trees. (Source: CARBON FREE CONSULTING CORPORATION, FY2022 results)
The reduction in CO2 from reducing paper slips may be minor for a single company, but as society as a whole
moves toward digitalization, the effect compounds into something significantly greater. For many stakeholders
involved in back-office operations, adapting to the invoicing system and the Revised Act Concerning
Preservation of Electronic Books can be a challenging task. However, the environmental impact of
digitalization on a societal level can be substantial. To this end, we intend to further strengthen our
support system, including legal compliance, and take on the challenge of reducing CO2 emissions together with
our customers.
As we reach the milestone of a quarter of a century, we will review the “smart” value in our brand and aim
for further growth with our customers and partners to further refine the value of our brand.
We look forward to your continued patronage.
